Great working holiday tour

by: Kaitlyn Clark - United StatesProgram: Sydney Intro Tour & Paid Working Holiday in Australia
10

I recently completed the Sydney Gap Year tour with Working Holiday Guide, and I can’t recommend it highly enough! As someone embarking on a working holiday in Australia, this tour was the perfect introduction to life Down Under. The entire experience was seamless, from the moment I landed in Sydney to the end of the tour. The team at Working Holiday Guide really thought of everything. They organized a smooth airport transfer and set us up in comfortable, centrally located accommodation, which made it easy to explore the city. The tour itinerary was fantastic, offering a great mix of practical sessions and fun activities. We had informative sessions on essential topics like setting up a bank account, applying for a tax file number, and job-hunting tips, which were incredibly helpful for settling in. The guided tours around Sydney were a highlight. We visited iconic landmarks like the Sydney Opera House, Bondi Beach, and the Harbour Bridge, and even got to discover some of the city’s hidden gems. The tour leaders were knowledgeable, friendly, and always ready to answer any questions we had. What made this experience truly special was the sense of community it fostered. I met fellow travelers from all around the world, and we quickly formed a tight-knit group. Whether we were sharing meals, exploring the city, or just hanging out, there was always a great vibe. The friendships I made on this tour are ones I know will last well beyond my time in Australia. If you’re considering a working holiday in Australia, the Sydney Gap Year tour with Working Holiday Guide is the best way to start your adventure. It’s well-organized, informative, and incredibly fun—everything you could want to kick off your year in Australia!

A Guide to Dentistry Jobs Abroad

Locations

Wherever there are people, there is a need for a good, qualified dentist. First decide if you want city or country when searching for international dentistry jobs, and then check what the local requirements are for practicing. Some countries might align more closely with your home country while others may require extra testing or observed clinical hours. With a little research you’ll be able to find the perfect fit for your desired path.

Australia. For those of you who only speak English but still want the thrill of living abroad, try your hand at dentistry in a major city or charming small town of Australia. It’s one of the higher-paying jobs in Australia and you’ll experience a high standard of living with diverse and metropolitan ways to spend your free time.

China can prove a bit more of a challenge, both culturally and clinically. You likely won’t be allowed to work in a local hospital without citizenship, but even in the Western expat clinics where English is spoken, it’s critical to know at least a bit of the language. The way Chinese perform takes a bit of getting used to as well— they have more of a “if you’re not in unbearable pain, ignore it until you are” mentality that places more emphasis on treatment than prevention.

That being said, China is at the forefront of the modern world and offers a way of life unparalleled anywhere else. It’s fast, it’s exciting, and provides a unique look into the past while stilling pushing forward in major cities like Shanghai. If you can practice dentistry in China, you can do it anywhere!

Italy. Working abroad in dentistry in Italy is a dream come true for most, and dentistry is no exception. There are hundreds if not thousands of English-speaking expats in any given city, and with all the delicious food and soothing gelato, clients will be in need of a good dentist!
