Food Science & Nutrition Jobs Abroad

We’ve all seen (and probably envied) the hosts of those food traveler shows. International cuisine allures and offers us a glimpse into another culture. No matter what our background is, food is something we all have in common. If food science or nutrition is your specialty, you’re aware that food is much more than just nourishment; it is the vehicle through which we communicate sentiments, express our creativity, and create memories. It is in the sharing of food with others that keeps us connected. Landing a food science or nutrition job abroad will allow you to work with food at the organic, molecular level AND see the big picture.

Great working holiday tour

by: Kaitlyn Clark - United StatesProgram: Sydney Intro Tour & Paid Working Holiday in Australia
10

I recently completed the Sydney Gap Year tour with Working Holiday Guide, and I can’t recommend it highly enough! As someone embarking on a working holiday in Australia, this tour was the perfect introduction to life Down Under. The entire experience was seamless, from the moment I landed in Sydney to the end of the tour. The team at Working Holiday Guide really thought of everything. They organized a smooth airport transfer and set us up in comfortable, centrally located accommodation, which made it easy to explore the city. The tour itinerary was fantastic, offering a great mix of practical sessions and fun activities. We had informative sessions on essential topics like setting up a bank account, applying for a tax file number, and job-hunting tips, which were incredibly helpful for settling in. The guided tours around Sydney were a highlight. We visited iconic landmarks like the Sydney Opera House, Bondi Beach, and the Harbour Bridge, and even got to discover some of the city’s hidden gems. The tour leaders were knowledgeable, friendly, and always ready to answer any questions we had. What made this experience truly special was the sense of community it fostered. I met fellow travelers from all around the world, and we quickly formed a tight-knit group. Whether we were sharing meals, exploring the city, or just hanging out, there was always a great vibe. The friendships I made on this tour are ones I know will last well beyond my time in Australia. If you’re considering a working holiday in Australia, the Sydney Gap Year tour with Working Holiday Guide is the best way to start your adventure. It’s well-organized, informative, and incredibly fun—everything you could want to kick off your year in Australia!
