Jobs abroad in Lisbon abound in the education sector, including (but not limited to) opportunities to teach English. The city’s growing economy also makes for internship opportunities with new and growing companies across a variety of sectors, including business, marketing/PR, and journalism. Other Lisbon jobs for foreigners offer placements in the tourism sector. While these service positions may not pay top dollar, they do often include language courses to prepare you for the job. 

It’s an adventure, right? Cost of living is cheap here, but you won’t get rich off your work in Lisbon—salaries can be low. Lovely Lisbon’s recent revival has made the rental market competitive. When looking for housing, don’t hesitate to call landlords who may lose your email in their overflowing inboxes, and be prepared to move quickly when you find a place you like.
