Australia gave me a lot of completely different experiences. I got to work in rural Australia, travel along the east coast with my best friend, learn how to surf at a surf camp, see Uluru, and meet people from around the world. One of the things I liked most was that there was always something else to experience. Australia is huge, and the farm was only one chapter of the trip. Once I started travelling, every place felt different. Some of my best memories came from simply saying yes when an opportunity came up.

I have been self controlled in my country working from my heart to bear fruits from my sweat hence enabling neighbours get their daily needs in their door step instead of looking for time to go and buy their essentials in uptown whereby saving on time and transport also through enjoying fresh yields direct from the farm at a cheaper cash

I am a young adult Agronomist from Malawi. I passionate about agriculture and community development, promoting the food security. With hardworking, team work and skills get in agriculture sector and other I will to contribute to any nation for development and sustainability of livehood of people.

I had an unforgettable experience with global work & travel on this trip, and my Trip Coordinator Shona was truly exceptional. They took care of every detail, from logistics to local insights, making sure each day was seamless and exciting. Their knowledge of the area was impressive, and they shared hidden gems that we would have never discovered on our own. What really stood out was how they handled unexpected situations with ease, always staying one step ahead and making sure we felt comfortable and supported. They communicated clearly, so we always knew what to expect, and their enthusiasm made the whole experience feel that much more special. My trip has been absolutely excellent so far. I arrived on the 19th of February in Sydney and am living in Glenmore Park. A few days after exploring the place and seeing what is around me I went to a concert that was amazing. After that I went to a place called Forster and got to see the beach and the ocean surrounding it. I got to go on a boat and do some fishing while seeing all the wildlife around including pelicans, dolphins and a lot of different kind of fish and sea life. After all the exploring I went back to Penrith and met some of my partners family and friends who were all so nice to me. They explained the culture a little bit more, and a lot of them are rugby (footy?) fans and introduced me to the game which I found really fascinating because I love sports and learning the game. Now that I've settled in and seen what's around I am looking for jobs around the area. My next goal here is to figure out the bus and train systems so that I can get myself around. Another goal I have is to make some friends in my free time and get some insight on the hidden gems of the area. I'd really like to go for some hikes to see more of all the natural beauty of the area. I'm so happy about how warm it is here and not having any snow around me makes me so happy. I do miss my family back home and with the time difference its hard to catch them when they are available but its been nice to have a different family atmosphere to be around that is so warm and welcoming. I do feel a little out of my comfort zone being in a place that is so different from where I come from, but each day that I am here it gets better and better. I'd like to thank Shona for being there if I have any questions or concerns and keeping in contact with insights and tips. It's very much appreciated with everything this journey has come with. I feel like I'm in safe and good hands and would recommend her to anyone who wants a fantastic experience with Global!

I've been delighted with my experience, working with Global has made my experience amazing and given me peace of mind that all will go smoothly and if not, I've got assistance if needed! Asti, my arrival coordinator, has been most helpful and checked in multiple times even since my arrival to make sure that all is going well. My only feedback would be that I think that orientation should be in person, with other Global travellers in the area - it was difficult to network with others travelling with the same company over messaging only, and the 2 people I managed to find agreed that they thought orientation was in person 😅. Overall, an incredible experience so far, and thank you for your help finding me a suitable role and supporting me at every stage.

From the moment I said I wanted to go with Global Work and Travel I've just had te most amazing experience! The people who have helped me are amazing and super nice and also helped me with anything I could possibly need and want. It's been a great first week!

Could not recommend enough! Since day 1, Charlie, David and Hannah have all been so kind and informative. They have all helped me to book and arrange everything, this is my first time travelling so I had alot of silly questions that they answered as best they could and I could not be more thankful. Planning a life changing event like working and living abroad doesn't come without a mountain of tasks, unseen hurdles and life admin I really wasn't ready for... Luckily the stress was pretty much evaporated by the team at Global who made the process a breeze, guiding through the stages of booking, planning and all the admin you wouldn't think about until I landed... Flights. Visa. Phone Sim. First Hostel, and probably most reassuring of all - a job when you've stepped off the plane. They handle it absolutely perfectly, pre trip nerves ? Nothing is too much trouble for the team at Global, who guide you through the whole journey from concept to landing on the tarmac Down under - with continued support after you've settled to really keep you reassured. I would highly recommend Global based on my experience with them, be it for a working holiday, excursion tour or any of their services! What makes it so much more tangible is the team there have had their own travelling experiences and handle your booking on a human level, really hyping you up in the build up and putting any worries at ease. My trip In particular was handled flawlessly by Myles, David and Asti. Who I highly commend from taking me out of a nowhere job bored in the UK to living the dream down under in Melbourne !

First and foremost my trip has barely started im only 3 weeks in but I have really enjoyed the nightlife in Melbourne and just how sublime the city appears at night with breath taking views. My travel coordinator made it simple for me to be able to land in Australia and not have to worry about taxi, or Ubers to get to my accommodation and also helping me with multiple job opportunities, before I arrived in Australia communication was very immediate to ensure my trip was as smooth as possible.

I have experience at cruise ship since 2016 Housekeeping Department as anStateroom Attendant, my job is to keep clean an tidy every single room and hygine as per standard, engage with all my guest and make sure the have great experince when they vacation

Hi Georgie, I just wanted to say a big thank you for all that you have done to get me over here and have a job. I have been at my job nearly four weeks and I am really enjoying it. Not sure if I told you or not but it is a cattle farm around 4 hours west of Brisbane and I have been doing lots of cattle work and learning lots of new skills. My boss is real nice too which makes it better still. Not really sure how long I will be here.
