Immerse yourself in a cultural exchange and immersion program in Spain! Placements are available in beautiful locations – Madrid, Sevilla, Barcelona, Jerez, and Malaga. You'll work as an au pair and become exposed to the Spanish language and customs at the ground level from day one. Plus, you won't have to worry about living expenses. Eligibility Male and female au pairs are welcome Between 18 and 30 years old Native or high level of English; some families value a basic level of Spanish Experience in childcare: babysitting, camps, teaching, younger siblings Eager to integrate into the customs of Spain The duration of your placement depends entirely on you. Most Spanish families request au pairs to stay for 1 to 3 months in summer, from May/June to mid-September. Placements lasting 6 to 9 months are in demand during the school year. You can stay for a shorter period if your native language is English. Au pairs can work up to 30 hours weekly and have weekends off. During the week, you will have enough time to study Spanish or meet with friends (other au pairs in Spain). Benefits include a minimum of €80 weekly pocket money and one week paid holidays for every six months worked.
