Excellent working holiday intro tour in Melbourne

February 17, 2025by: Alexandra Paul - United StatesProgram: Melbourne Gap Year: Paid Work Opportunities in Australia

I recently joined the Melbourne Gap Year tour with Grabatour, and it was hands down the perfect way to kick-start my Australian adventure! From the moment I arrived, everything was well-organized, making the transition into a new country smooth and stress-free. The itinerary was a great mix of practical support and fun experiences. The team helped us set up essentials like bank accounts, tax file numbers, and SIM cards, which saved me so much time and hassle. They also provided great advice on job hunting, which gave me a real head start in finding work. Beyond the practical stuff, the city tours were a highlight. We explored Melbourne’s famous laneways, checked out the street art, and visited St. Kilda Beach, all while learning about the city’s culture. There were also plenty of opportunities to socialize, and I met an amazing group of people from all over the world. The support from their local team didn’t stop when the tour ended—they were always there to help with any questions I had. If you’re looking for an exciting, hassle-free way to start your working holiday in Australia, I highly recommend this tour!

A Guide to Sustainable Development Jobs Abroad

Why Work Abroad

While sustainable development is an equally important field of work all over the world, the world itself is not equally developed. Pre-industrial and post-industrial societies face their own unique sets of developmental and sustainability challenges which are deeply rooted in geography, infrastructure, and economic activity. Travelling to another part of the globe to work abroad in sustainable development is the chance to lend a helping hand in areas that are most at-risk, while having the quite an adventure no less.
