Jobs in Multiple Countries
So you want to see the world, make money, and build your resume? Well, the good news is you can do all three at the same time! There are many entry level jobs that require travel, or you can consider altogether working abroad, which allows you to travel overseas while gaining professional skills (you know, preparing you for the “real world!”). And why not make the most of it and travel through several different countries while you’re at it? A multi-country job abroad not only allows more passport stamps, but also heightens your experience by exposing you to several cultures, languages, and work environments. You’ll come home richer than you left – in more ways than one!

A Guide to Working Abroad in Multiple Countries
LOCATIONS
While it’s possible to find work abroad on every continent, every location offers a different experience. Regions differ in culture, language, types of jobs that travel abroad, and salaries, but with a little research you’re sure to find a route that’s perfect for you.
Asia has endless opportunities for working abroad, especially for those interested in teaching English. From developing countries in Southeast Asia to hip, modern cities in the north, this region offers diverse experiences any traveler will love. Begin your multi-country job in Vietnam, spending your free time feasting on some of the best (and cheapest!) seafood, riding bicycles through French-inspired streets, or cruising through picturesque Halong Bay. Then head to Thailand to fall in love with tropical beaches, yummy curries, incense-filled Buddhist temples, and a big expat community. Or choose a more developed country as a home base, like South Korea or China, where the cost of living is higher, but so are the salaries!
Oceania is another popular location for working abroad. In both Australia and New Zealand, young people aged 18 to 30 can easily obtain a working holiday visa that allows up to a year (or two, depending on your country of origin) in each country to work and travel. That means you could spend a couple years hopping from Australia’s coastal cities, brilliant beaches, and famous Outback to the magnificent Kiwi mountains surrounded by some of the bluest water your eyes will ever see. Work hard, save money, and spend your free time traveling through one of the world’s biggest backpacker nations.
Travelers also have the option to find jobs that require travel and pay well in Europe. With so many countries in such close proximity, you’ll have the chance to work and travel through several locations in a shorter period of time. Start with a job in the Czech Republic and settle into a village surrounded by medieval castles and cobblestone streets, or get lost in fields of tulips while working abroad in the Netherlands. No matter where you work in Europe, you’ll be free to jet off to other cultures and languages nearly every weekend!
If you can’t decide where to find jobs that require international travel, no worries! A multi-country job means you don’t have to choose. How about starting your adventure as an au pair in Italy with all you can eat gelato, then teaching English in Japan amidst anime fanatics, and ending with a working holiday in the land down under?
